It is amazing how my mornings can really differ, even when my routine is the same.  For example, this morning my girls were getting ready for school and they just kept sitting down.  They weren't doing anything, they didn't appear to be really tired.  I don't know what it was.  Maybe they weren't motivated.  It could be something that could be resolved with b vitamins.

Oh, well.  We will see what tomorrow will bring.

Sweeps

Yes, I am one of those people who used think only crazy people entered sweepstakes all the time.  That is until I tried it.  I have entered sweeps for the last four weeks and have averaged one sweepstake win a week.  However, I know that I am not making anywhere near a living wage considering the time I spent on the computer.

Some of the television specials on those who are addicted to sweeping make it sound like you win tons and don't have to do anything but sweep.  They are so wrong.  My experiment in sweeping only proved that it is something to do while I watch television.  It also showed me several sweepstakes that I didn't enter because of the personal information they required.

Well, at least I have won a few prizes my kids will like for Christmas. ....and I have learned that those who follow sweeps aren't crazy, they are just really happy to win a few small trinkets, t-shirts, and books.

Pulling My Hair Out

As it turns out my girls are all very different.  My middle child is very, very, very challenging at times and likes it that way.  She is the one that knows more than any person she knows and at the old age of 13 is going to tell us all how it is and how it should be.  This morning that is all she did, at the top of her lungs, to anyone that would listen and anyone who was trying not to listen....I love her spirit, but I wish that spirit would take a break occasionally.

This morning she decided to yell at her sister for making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch.  As it turns out there is no lunch meat and she didn't have a choice.  Apparently when you are 13 this is unfair.  She said it wasn't her fault and she should not be punished for there not being any lunch meat in the house.  Since I would have to drive 24 miles to the store to buy the lunch meat I told her she would have to live with what we had.  She again told me that was not fair.  Oh well, I guess she needs to learn that life isn't fair.  Besides, we didn't have the money for lunch meat and I ate many peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch.  I think I have created spoiled children...

As I sat listening to this tirade all morning all I could think of is "I think I will pull my hair out, since soon it will all be gray anyway!"

Until Next Time
